It's winter on vancouver island. The heavy and frequent rains engorge the lakes & streams and they flow into the cowichan river. Engorged by seasonal precipitation this large heritage river churns into a narrow bedrock canyon, turns, and comes out of the turn charging. This is where the recording was made, at river level. The context of this audio is as follows: the brazilian youtuber gabs was playing a game made in the rpg maker and in the game he had the option of "sleeping alone" or "sleeping with his mother" after he chose to sleep with his mother shortly after an audio of moan is reproduced wanting to imply an incest after what happened the youtuber is totally disgusted and surprised. And gives rise to this audio.

I´ve recorded this sound produced by a large water wheel of 4 meters diameter, in the historical part of augsburg bavaria, part of town where early industry and work shops used water energy for different purposes. This water wheel does not drive any gear any more, it is just for to give an impression of that old water driven industry. The wheel is driven by one of many former industry channels, small rivers through that part of town.
